High Point Village hosts ribbon cutting for building expansion

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A Lubbock nonprofit celebrated its expansion on Thursday afternoon.

High Point Village hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new expanded building. The project includes three new classrooms, new offices and a space for music therapy.

The organization is faith-based, serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Katie Crump, a development officer for High Point Village, stated this expansion is an important step for the organization.

Crump says this project will help keep up with the needs of the growing number of Villagers.
