THIS AFTERNOON: It's quite a bit cooler than yesterday, but is actually running around what's typical for this time of year. So far it's been up to 60 in Lubbock. The wind has backed off from the somewhat breezy conditions earlier today.
TONIGHT: Initially clear with clouds increasing through the morning. Low near 28, wind E 10-15mph.
TOMORROW: Cloudy and cold, high near 41. Wind E/NE 10-18mph.
Some drizzle or light showers are possible. Even where it does rain, amounts will be very light.
MILD AGAIN: By Friday it clears out again, with a high in the mid 60s. It'll be a breezy day, SW wind up around 20mph. Nice weather for Tech Baseball's home opener.
It'll be even warmer Saturday, up around 70. It now looks like the next cold front will move across our area some time during the day Sunday. We've lowered the high Sunday into the mid 50s and it may drop a bit through the afternoon with a gusty NE wind.
NEXT WEEK: Monday will be cloudy and cold again, with a chance for some rain or wintry mix. Then it clears out and we see another quick warm-up.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here tomorrow morning.
