ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - An Albuquerque man is facing an 18-year sentence in federal prison after pleading guilty to several armed robberies in 2018. Prosecutors say 29-year-old Jared Barnhill pleaded guilty Monday to three counts of interference with interstate commerce by robbery and violence and two counts of using, carrying, or possessing a firearm during a crime of violence. Barnhill was accused of robbing an Albuquerque gas station-convenience store at gunpoint in June 2018. Prosecutors say Barnhill left with around $30 in cash and $3,000 in store merchandise. In July 2018, prosecutors say Barnhill robbed another business of about $200 in cash and $13,500 in merchandise and then a third business days later, obtaining over $900 in cash and $11,000 in merchandise.
