The Lubbock County Justice Courts issued a standing order Tuesday suspending certain provisions related to court proceedings.

The order was issued following Gov. Abbott’s Disaster Proclamation.

The Justice Courts list proceedings that will be impacted including evictions, small claims, truancy and other temporary changes amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The order will stay in effect until Gov. Abbott lifts the State of Emergency, or the Texas Supreme Court or Court of Criminal Appeals authorizes new rules.
