Investigators with Texas Parks and Wildlife have identified the man found after an accidental drowning in Lake Alan Henry.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden Captain Aryn Corley reports a body was found in Lake Alan Henry Friday.

An off-duty officer reported seeing personal items and a gun on the shore. Game Wardens responded to the call and went out with a side-scanning sonar to locate the body. 

Lubbock Fire Rescue's dive team was called out to help recover the body. 

According to investigators, a male in his 30's appears to have died in an accidental drowning. The cause will be determined by the Medical Examiners Officer after an autopsy has been performed.
