Crosbyton native Joe Taylor spent years painting billboards out of LP covers that were featured in some of the most prominent places of LA including in front of Tower Records on the Sunset Strip. Many of them were simply painted over, but Taylor started purchasing his own work and a number of them have survived.

One of the pieces, featuring James Taylor, is being signed by the singer as he opens his new tour in Lubbock this week.

A planned museum in Lubbock will feature Joe Taylor's work along with other local artists with the proceeds going to Operation Not Forgotten, a charity for veterans.
