As the fall semester approaches, the Kingsgate Center wants to help kids get ready.
Teaming up with Sprouts and the Bridge of Lubbock, the Center is hosting it's annual Backpack to School drive to make sure every child has what they need for class.
The drive starts Monday and goes through August 16.
New or gently used backpacks can be dropped off at both the north and south Kingsgate Center locations at 82nd and Quaker.
Before they're handed off to the students, the backpacks will be filled with school supplies and healthy snacks.

Drop off locations include:
America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses
Great Clips
J. Roberts
Marble Slab
Alterations Unlimited
Banana Republic
Malouf's
Menchie's Frozen Yogurt
Sprouts Farmers Market

The United family is also rounding up school supplies starting next Wednesday.
Project SOS, Supply Our Students" raises school supplies for students in need.
From July 22 through August 11, you can drop off school supplies into barrels near the entrances of all United Supermarkets, Market Streets or Amigos in Lubbock or Slaton.
You can also make cash donations at checkout.
Lubbock, Lubbock-Cooper, Frenship, Roosevelt and Slaton school districts are benefiting from the donations.
