City officials report water was pumping to Post residents Tuesday morning, but due another break in the main White River line it was shut off again.
Monday was the third day residents were without water.
City utility workers and contractors will be shutting water meters off Tuesday to help speed up the process and control damage to the infrastructure. Once water is restored, the city will turn meters back on gradually. If leaks occur they will be turned back off.
The city will provide drinking and non-potable water at the fire station starting at 5 p.m. Containers will not be issued and residents are urged to bring their own.
