Grand Central Station Antique Mall, Lubbock Impact host 2nd annual Tree of Warmth

On Saturday, residents can donate clothes to keep a community member warm this winter.

The Grand Central Station Antique Mall is partnering with Lubbock Impact for the second annual Tree of Warmth. The drive this year is in honor of the late Impact founder Rory Thomas.

They are asking for mittens, gloves, beanies, socks and scarves. The items will go to Lubbock Impact clients in Christmas gift bags in December.

"Children's sizes often get lost in the shuffle this time of year, so our goal is to get as many small sizes as we can. All sizes are welcome, but we're emphasizing children's sizes," Don Abbe, with the Grand Central Station Antique Mall, said.

The tree is already set up, and donations can be taken there. Grand Central Station also offers curbside pickup.
