Three more people died from COVID-19 and its complications in Lubbock the city confirmed Thursday. 665 total people have died from the virus since mid-March.
The Lubbock health department reported 133 new cases of COVID-19. This brings the total number of active cases to 1,920.
160 more people have recovered from a confirmed case, with 44,120 total recoveries reported.
155 people are being treated in a Lubbock hospital, with 52 patients in an ICU.
The 22-county region's most recent hospitalization rate, according to the city data, is 13.49 percent. This is the second day the hospitalization rate as remained below the governor's 15 percent threshold.
If the county stays below that threshold for seven straight days, economic restrictions may be lifted.
