Parker Shofner joined KCBD in June of 2021. He's a newscast producer and the anchor for Daybreak Weekend. He grew up right here in the Hub City, watching Sharon Maines and Steve Divine every morning before going to school.
Parker’s passion for journalism started at Irons Middle School, where he was a part of its Cougar TV crew. He then took that passion to Texas Tech University, where he anchored its MCTV newscast.
Parker is excited to be a part of the KCBD news team and is proud to bring you Coverage You Can Count On.
