Mary Kate Hamilton

You can watch Mary Kate Hamilton every weeknight anchoring the CBS7 Evening News at 5, 6 and 10. Before joining Jay Hendricks at the anchor desk, Mary Kate came to Odessa in August of 2020 as a weekend sports anchor and sports reporter for CBS7 Sports. A native Hoosier, Mary Kate Hamilton graduated from Indiana University in May of 2020 with a degree in Journalism. Mary Kate has wanted to be a journalist since the fifth grade, and has never looked back.

Before joining the CBS7 team, Mary Kate interned for WISH-TV's sports department, as well as Southern Indiana's PBS affiliate TV and radio station, WTIU. She also worked as a sideline reporter and producer for the Big Ten Network in college.

Mary Kate is passionate about human interest storytelling, government and politics, and her cat, Leo.
