1 seriously injured, 1 arrested in overnight west Lubbock crash

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Lubbock Police are investigating an overnight crash in West Lubbock.
Officials say a vehicle hit a pedestrian and fled the scene, just before 1:00 a.m., near 51st Street and Aberdeen Avenue.
EMS took the victim to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say they are expected to be okay.
LPD says the driver of the vehicle, Tyler Larrentree, 24 later returned to the scene.

Larrentree was transported to the Lubbock County Detention Center where he was booked-in for Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
Larrentre is being held on a $7,500 bond.
