LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Easter Sunday is April 9, but you can celebrate this weekend with various events hosted by the City of Lubbock and various organizations.

Here’s a list of events ahead of Easter weekend:

Sunday, April 9

Easter Celebration at Adventure Park

Easter Celebration and Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Admission includes Unlimited FUN on Adventure Towers, Easter Egg Hung and Photo Opportunity with the Easter Bunny. $10 adult entry includes general admission, $15 child entry includes towers, and $35 family entry includes towers for family.

Easter Brunch at the Overton

The Overton Hotel and Conference Center invites you to the most elegant Easter Brunch in town. The menu features a breakfast buffet, seafood display, carving station, dessert bar and more. Reservations available 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for families of any size.

Easter Brunch at Burklee Hill Vineyards

Join us for Easter Brunch down on Broadway! We will be serving up all of your brunch favorites plus a few extra special menu items. April 9th, 10 AM until 2 PM. Reservations recommended. Sunday, April 9 from 10:00 AM 2:00 PM. Burklee Hill Vineyards is located at 1109 Broadway St.

Little Woodrows Adult Easter Egg Hunt

Where my peeps at!? ?? Join us Sunday, April 9th for our Adult Easter Egg Hunt! ? This is a free event! Must be 21+ The hunt begins at 5pm! Surprise cash prizes and incredible finds! $5 22oz Mimosas, Bloody Marys & Micheladas! Karbach Ranchwater and Yuengling Flight bucket specials!

Thursday, April 6

Easter Bunny Garden Cups at the Play Street Museum

Hop on over to Play Street Museum Thursday, April 6th from 5:30-7:30pm for playtime and making yummy bunny garden pudding cups!$17/ticket. Each child ticket admits up to 2 adults.

Friday, April 7

Painting with a Twist Easter in Texas!

Instructor: Vanessa $38-$45 per person 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Saturday, April 8

Easter Egg Hunt Lubbock Memorial Arboretum

The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum will host a free Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 8 starting at 9:30 a.m.

Easter Hat Parade Contest

Join us for the Easter Hat Parade Saturday, April 8 at 11 a.m. at Adventure Park. There will be three divisions - Child, Adult and Family. Judges will vote each division and prizes will be awarded. $10 adult entry includes general admission, $15 child entry includes towers and $35 family entry includes towers for the family.

$5 Easter Bunny Special at the American Windmill Museum

Come celebrate Easter at the American Windmill Museum! We have heard the Easter Bunny will be hopping in to give out Easter eggs to the kids! Admission will be $5 per person, kids 5 and under and members of the AWM are free. Take your own photos with the Easter Bunny too! Don’t forget to bring your Easter Basket! Rick the Balloon-atic and Faces by Kelley will also be here from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. Free face painting and balloon animals for all who requests it. It will be a hopping good time for everyone!

Old MacDonalds Petting and Family Fun Farm

Come celebrate Easter Season with us at the farm!! 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be April 8th at 10:15am!! Bring the kiddos to hunt for 1,000 Easter Eggs! The park will return to normal activities directly after. **Parents beware some easter eggs will have chocolate and or peanut products** The farm is located at 11701 N FM 1264 Lubbock, Texas 79415.

10K Easter egg hunt at HideAway Events Center

10,000 Easter eggs, special, guess in attendance, Peter rabbit, Peeps bunny, Spider-Man, Captain, America, bumblebee from transformers, JJ from Cocomelon, Chase and Skye from Paw Patrol, etc. Event from noon to 4 p.m. at HideAway Events Center located at 210 East CR 7200, Lubbock, TX.
