1 seriously injured in motorcycle crash in East Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - One person is seriously injured after a motorcycle crash in East Lubbock Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the crash just before 12:30 p.m. near East Loop 289 and Idalou Rd.
Westbound traffic for Idalou Rd. is completely shut down and being diverted to the East Loop access road. Westbound traffic for Parkway Dr. is being diverted onto the East Loop access road. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
The motorcyclist has been transported to the hospital.
This cause of the crash is under investigation.
