Driver charged with intoxication manslaughter after deadly collision on FM 2641
LUBBOCK COUNTY, Texas (KCBD) - A Lubbock man has died after being struck by a pickup while he was parked in a barrow ditch, trying to inflate a tractor tire.
The call came in a little after 4 p.m. from North University Ave. and FM 2641, about a mile west of Lubbock.
DPS tells us 63-year-old Timothy Lee Harr was struck by a 2018 Dodge pickup while his tractor was parked in the north barrow ditch.
DPS says the driver of the pickup “failed to drive in a single lane, went across the westbound lane of travel into the north barrow ditch, and struck Harr and the front left portion of the tractor.”
Harr died at the scene.
The driver of the pickup, 23-year-old Stephanie Marie Fair of New Deal, has been arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. Her bond has been set at $85,000.
