LIVINGSTON, Texas (KTRE/Gray News) - The Texas Department of Public Safety has reported that a 2-week-old baby previously reported as missing has been found.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office also issued a notice that Sonni Meilike has been found. Previously, an Amber Alert had been issued for Sonni.

According to the alert, the suspect was with her non-custodial mother, Sylvia Norman, who authorities believe had taken the child and fled.

Authorities said Norman was also found.

“At this time, Sylvia Norman and her 2 weeks old child have been located and are safe with law enforcement and CPS personnel,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a Facebook post Friday evening.
