LSO Deputy involved in rollover Sunday night

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - An investigation is underway into an incident involving a Lubbock County Sheriff’s Deputy whose vehicle rolled over.

The deputy was responding to a call when the vehicle overturned onto an embankment.

The vehicle came to a rest while upside down.

The deputy was able to climb out of the vehicle to safety and was transported to UMC. She was later released and is now resting at home.

The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.

The crash happened around 10:15 p.m. Sunday near Parkway Dr. and Idalou Rd.

Lubbock police, sheriff’s deputies, Lubbock Fire Rescue and EMS all responded to the crash.
