Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash in West Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Lubbock Police are investigating a crash that happened just before 2 a.m. in a parking lot near 50th and Frankford Ave. that killed a pedestrian.
Police say 45-year-old Ramon Ramirez was taken to the hospital with serious injuries where he later died.
Investigators say it appears Ramirez got into a physical altercation in the parking lot of a business where he was injured. Following the altercation he was then struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle left the scene of the crash.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is on-going.
