“Next Level Chef” contestant teaching class at 6th annual Lubbock Uncorked festival this weekend
LUBBOCK, Texas (KJTV) - Lubbock’s own “Next Level Chef” will be at Lubbock Uncorked this weekend to teach a pairing class.
Angie Ragan, who is a caterer from Lubbock, made it to the semifinals of the premiere season of Gordon Ramsay’s new cooking show, “Next Level Chef.”
Participants will work with Ragan to create an “Amuse Bouche Texas Style,” where they will pair small “one-bites” with local wines.
From Uncorked:
Angie Ragan, Next Level Chef and Owner/Executive Chef at Salt by Angie, has expertly crafted four bites that perfectly represent the main flavor profiles, bitter, spicy, salty, and sweet. Each bite highlights a different Texas staple, served with Texas wines paired by Sommelier Matt Bostick of Llano Estacado Winery. Enjoy these special treats created to enhance your dining experience and learn how to pair foods with wine for yourself.
The class will be Saturday, Apr. 2 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. A limited number of tickets are available for $65 and can be purchased online or at the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce office.
