One seriously injured after shooting near 25th St and Ave L

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - One person has suffered serious injuries in a shooting near 25th & Avenue L on Wednesday afternoon.
Police received a call around 3 p.m. from a resident saying their neighbor had been shot. The victim was taken to UMC.
Police are on the scene and interviewing a person of interest. This investigation is ongoing.
