LPD said the incident began as a domestic dispute around 3:20 a.m. at a home near the intersection of 30th St. and Avenue X. The subject then barricaded himself inside the house and a SWAT team was called.

A female victim was transported to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.

LPD says a SWAT response is standard procedure for a barricaded subject in order to prevent further injury to anyone involved.
