LUBBOCK COUNTY, Texas -

Witnesses report an "explosion" at the Buffalo Springs Lake fireworks show Friday night sparked a large fire in Ransom Canyon.

One witness said the cache of fireworks "literally blew up all at once," saying fire was spread across the hill overlooking Buffalo Springs Lake.

One person was hospitalized Friday night with only minor injuries -- initial reports suggest he was struck in the head by one of the detonating fireworks.

Crews continue to contain the resulting fire after nearly an hour.
