LPD searching for Howard Johnson robbery suspect

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Lubbock Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a masked suspect who robbed a south Lubbock hotel on Monday, June 17.

Police report the suspect walked into the Howard Johnson hotel at 5108 I-27. 

He walked up to the counter and pulled a gun on an employee, according to police. LPD says the employee ran and the suspect took off without injuring anyone or stealing anything.
