LUBBOCK, Texas -

Four individuals have been indicted in connection to the murder of 20-year-old TyShaun Bates

Daytron Hood, 22, and Christopher Thomas, 20, are both indicted for Bate's murder. Lisa Morales, 24, and Quawnard Williams, 22, are both indicted for aggravated robbery.

On the night of April 10, Lubbock police officers responded to the Lubbock Square Apartments in the 4600 block of 50th Street for reports of shots fired. Officers located Bates with life threatening injuries inside his apartment. He was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Police records indicate Morales agreed to meet Bates at his apartment to purchase marijuana. According to a police report, Morales left the apartment claiming she left money in the car and once she exited the apartment Hood and Thomas rushed inside.

In an interview with police, Bates' girlfriend said two armed, masked men busted into the apartment. She told police she heard a voice say "where is it?" followed by a gunshot. She told police one of the gunman pointed the gun at her and ordered her to stay in the closet.

The police report indicates after Bates was shot, Hood and Thomas stole from the apartment and ran out.

Investigators report that Williams was the getaway driver.

Hood, Thomas, Morales and Williams were all arrested in April

Hood and Thomas are held on $250,000 bonds. Morales and Williams are held on $150,000 bonds.
