Lubbock Salvation Army and Keller Williams to celebrate 'Red Day'

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Keller Williams offices will close its doors nationwide tomorrow. Instead of closing on houses, agents will spend a day doing a service project for it's Red Day.

Red Day is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams Realty's year-round commitment to improving local communities. Agents from Lubbock will volunteer at the Salvation Army.

They plan on renovating the main building and fixing up some duplex's were families live.

"We hope that people would kind of pick up the torch from there and help with the Salvation Army or wherever your heart lies throughout the year because it can't just be one day. These organizations need things year-round. They're giving out 150-thousand meals out to the community every year," Jordan Linnenkugel, Agent at Keller Williams, said.

Every year on the second Thursday of May, Keller Williams shuts down offices nationwide for the day of service.
