LUBBOCK, Texas -

A Lubbock grand jury indicted 31-year-old Shane Floyd accused of beating his wife and children.

According to a police report, police responded to a domestic disturbance call on Jan. 6. The victim told police her and Floyd had been arguing about his excessive drinking. She told police Floyd would not allow her to leave while they were arguing.
