LUBBOCK, Texas -

A fourth suspect connected to the murder of 20-year-old Tyshaun Bates has been arrested. According to the Lubbock Police Department, 20-year-old Christopher Thomas was taken into custody Friday near 2100 East 4th St.

On Thursday, police arrested Daytron Hood, 22, a suspect in the murder of Bates on April 10 at the Lubbock Square Apartments on 50th Street.

22-year-old, Quawnard Williams and 24-year-old Lisa Morales are charged with aggravated robbery. Police said they attacked Bates at his home. Investigators said it appears Hood, Thomas, Morales, and Williams were trying to rob Bates, then shot him.

Police located Bates with life threatening injuries inside his apartment. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Prior to Hood's arrest, LPD announced an increased reward for any information on the suspects.

Hood is held on a $250,000 bond.
