Look Around Lubbock: Scales, Tails, and Trails at Lubbock Lake Landmark

Posted: Updated:

The Scales, Tails, and Trails event presented by the Texas Tech graduate student organization, Association of Natural Resource Scientists, at the Lubbock Lake Landmark is April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is a hands-on way for children and families to learn about wildlife, science, nature, and nutrition. While walking through the boardwalk at the Lubbock Lake Landmark, you will visit informational and interactive booths that offer information about gardening and fish prints and you can get your face painted.. You will also learn about bats, fish, insects, seeds, birds, and more with live animals to interact with. The goal of Scales, Tails, and Trails is to encourage a curiosity for nature among the community, especially youth.

Lubbock Lake Landmark is located at 2401 Landmark Dr.
