All Saints breaks ground on new middle school building

LUBBOCK, Texas -

All Saints Episcopal School broke ground Wednesday on a new 10,000-square-foot middle school. Lee Lewis Construction will build the structure designed by Chapman Harvey Architects with an emphasis on spaces for STEM curriculum.

The expansion will house spaces for technology and robotics to Kindergarten through 12th grade and focus more on providing STEM curriculum for All Saints students. Headmaster Bruce Latta said All Saints helps prepare children to thrive in our rapidly changing world.

"What we want to do is create opportunities so that kids have options and they can do what they want," he said. "So, they'll be prepared for anything they do, well prepared. And we'll find that businesses and colleges will compete to get All Saints graduates. We're already seeing that."

The Middle School is anticipated to be finished in early 2021.
