Investigators say two motorcycles were traveling side by side in the northbound right lane of Quaker Avenue. 

Both motorcyclists left the roadway of Quaker near a curve in the road. Police report one driver struck a sign and a brick fence. The second driver brushed against the fence. Both were taken to the hospital. 

The 17-year-old driver had moderate injuries. The 18-year-old driver had serious but non-life threatening injuries. 

The drivers names have not yet been released. 


Two riders are hospitalized following a crash near 95th and Quaker Wednesday evening.

Police say one of them has critical injuries. The other has moderate injuries.

As of 9 p.m. Wednesday, northbound traffic is being diverted off Quaker to 96th Street.

We don't yet know a cause. Names have not yet been released.
