LUBBOCK, Texas -

A photo of a Lubbock UPS driver stopped in traffic to honor a family's funeral procession is circulating social media. The driver said he learned that respect growing up.

On Feb. 23, Austin Howard stopped his delivery truck, got out and placed his hand over his heart in observance of the passing procession. Jennifer Rumsey sent in the photo, calling it the ultimate sign of respect for her father-in-law.

In a Facebook post, Howard said he saw someone doing the same thing when he was seven or eight and it really impacted him. "I do very much hope and pray that when someone sees anyone extending love, honor or kindness, that it would become ridiculously contagious, and spread like a freakin' wildfire," he said.
