Two killed in east Lubbock storage building fire

LUBBOCK, Texas -

A fire at an east Lubbock storage building claimed two lives Sunday.

Lubbock Fire Rescue reports firefighters arrived at 2266 East 48th Street late morning and found the building fully involved.

They found a man on a couch, removed him from the building and started CPR. He was taken to the hospital, where he died. Firefighters found a second man, who died at the scene.

Fire Marshal's Office investigators remain on-scene and will provide more information as it becomes available.
