LUBBOCK, Texas -

Hunters across the country and even from overseas flocking in Lubbock to discuss all things falconry.

The North American Falconers Association hosted a convention focusing on hunting and training in the ancient art.

"We've actually been here before, we were here four years ago, we came back because it had the right game. We hunt jack rabbits, quail, cotton tail rabbits, ducks, and Lubbock has it all, the city was also great to us last time we were here so we decided to come back and we also needed a place that can house so many falconers," Member Mallory Roelke said.

Nearly 300 attendees will be working with falcons, hawks and eagles.
