SPC Library to host book signing, speeches by author Jodi Thomas

South Plains College Library will be hosting West Texas author Jodi Thomas for a book signing and speech on Nov. 12.

Thomas will speak from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Library will have copies of her latest novel, “Mistletoe Miracles,” available for purchase. Other titles also will be available for purchase.

Thomas grew up in Amarillo. She moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Home Economics.

In 1988, “Beneath the Texas Sky” earned the National Press Women’s Novel of the Year. Thomas has written more than 50 books throughout her career. In addition to novels, she has written several trilogies although each trilogy featured five to six books rather than three. She became the 11th author to be inducted into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame.
