All Saints Episcopal School to present Veterans Day Assembly

Students will present a musical and historical tribute to veterans on November 12 during the All Saints Episcopal School’s annual Veterans Day Assembly at 8 a.m. in Jones Gym on the All Saints campus, 3222 103rd Street.

All Saints High School Student Council officers will lead a tribute to honor veterans. The choir, under the direction of Courtney Terral, will perform a musical patriotic medley.  The High School Drum Line will perform also.  The officers will present a historical narrative detailing the significance and history of Veterans Day. The Lubbock High School Color Guard, under the direction of Master Chief Mark Hays, will present the flags and lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

The assembly has been researched and planned by the All Saints High School Student Council and National Honor Society under the direction of advisor Marty Montoya.

All Saints Episcopal School is one of the few area schools that participate in a Veterans Day Assembly to educate students about the holiday and honor local veterans.  Area veterans are invited to attend.
