22nd Annual Cornucopia Luncheon to honor volunteers

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Volunteer Center of Lubbock honors outstanding individuals, families and businesses for their contributions through the "Get Involved Awards".

Assistant Director of the Volunteer Center, Sabine Jacobson. said many of the recipients participate in multiple organizations and are truly deserving of the award.

"We are so grateful for these incredible volunteers. All of the organizations that they volunteer for, truly couldn't do it without them," she said. "And I think thinking about the Thanksgiving season, it's a great time to think about gratitude and giving back. So, I think this event really ties in perfectly."

Proceeds go towards the Volunteer Center's impact in West Texas by broadening culture of service, building the next generation of leaders and strengthening collaborative partnerships throughout the South Plains.
