All Saints Episcopal School Varsity Volleyball to compete in TAPPS 2A State Championship

The All Saints Episcopal School Varsity Volleyball team will play for their second TAPPS 2-A State Championship November 8-9 in Waco. The school invites you to attend the team send-off at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday (November 7) in the All Saints High School parking lot.

For the fourth consecutive time in the program’s five-year history, the All Saints Episcopal School Varsity Volleyball team (28-10) has earned a berth in the TAPPS 2A State Championship. The Patriots won the state title in 2016.

They will play Red Oak Ovilla (32-6-2) at 5 p.m. Thursday, November 8 at Midway High School in Waco in the State Semi-finals. Austin Waldorf (21-19-3) and Shriner St. Paul Cathedral (32-8) will play their semi-final match at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The championship match between the winners of Thursday’s two matches will be played Friday at 10 a.m. at Midway High School.

All Saints is the undefeated TAPPS 2-A District Champion. They defeated Garland Christian 3-0 for the Area Championship and North Central Texas Academy 4-1 for the Regional Championship.

All Saints is coached by Kimberli Swett with assistance by Morgan Gray. Team members are: seniors Katie Bayouth, Chloe Flores, Syriah Flores, Grace Hickle, Nicole LoCascio, Meghan Mitchell, and Sarah Phy; juniors Stephanie Hasselkus, Elise Headrick, Hayley Latta, Ella Moran, Abby Schlehuber, and Mattie Thwaits; sophomores Presley Mills and Paige Schlehuber; and freshmen Haley Dickerson, Jilayne Headrick, Amanda Kell, Reese Rogers, Grace Ann Streit, and Ashby Whitaker.
