Lubbock grand jury indicts 2 accused of street racing

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Lubbock grand jury indicts two defendants accused of street racing. 

Jose Flores, 21, and Tyler Johnson, 20, accused of second degree felonies for "racing on highways causing serious bodily injury."

Police report the suspects were racing at more than a hundred miles per hour on the South Loop when they crashed their Dodge Chargers into two other vehicles. Three vehicles careened into the median, one flipped.  The suspects and five other victims were injured.  

The second degree felony is a two to 20 year prison sentence and a $10,000 fine.

Flores is held on a $100,000 bond and Johnson on a $225,000.
