On National Peace Officers Memorial Day, May 15th, the Lubbock Police Department will honor the department’s six officers killed in the line of duty.  The Lubbock Police Department Officer Memorial will begin with the Presentation of Colors by the LPD Honor Guard and will include a wreath presentation as we remember the fallen.

We would like to invite the public and media as we celebrate the lives of:

Sergeant Kevin Cox (June 30th, 1963 – July 13th, 2001)

Officer Rodney Kendricks (July 26th, 1967 – July 8th, 2001)

Sergeant Kenneth D. Fowler (December 11th, 1931 – June 18th, 1992)

Detective Larry Jack Stevens (October 21st, 1941 – February 9th, 1973)

Detective Ralph Clayton White (October 11th, 1927 – September 1st, 1953)

Officer Julio Herrera (May 1st, 1890 – July 19th, 1947)
