Look Around Lubbock: current exhibits at TTU Museum

The world-renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museumin London, opened at the Museum of Texas Tech University on March 2. The competition is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, providing a global platform that showcases the natural world’s most astonishing and challenging sights for more than 50 years. This exhibit will be open through July 1, 2018.

The Grasslands of North America and Africa explores the grasslands of the world. The exhibit compares the biodiversity of animals in the North American grassland surrounding the South Plains region to that found in the famous African grasslands seen on television and read about in books. This exhibit will be open through January 2019.
