Multiple structures burned just north of Lubbock

LUBBOCK COUNTY, Texas -

A fire is burning just north of Lubbock Friday morning.

Lubbock, New Deal, Shallowater and West Carlisle fire departments are responding near North Indiana Avenue and FM 2641, north of Hillcrest Country Club. Two buildings are burning. Crews are trying to prevent the fire from spreading to a third building.

EMS reports no one is hurt. The gusty west wind is making it difficult for firefighters, with the wind expected to get much stronger after 9 a.m.
