A Lubbock attorney announced for the District 3 seat on the Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees.

Ben Webb has served two years on LISD's Foundation for Excellence Board and is a parent advocate for the district's dual language program.  His wife is a former teacher and he has two children in the district.

"Its my goal to just provide whatever support I can as a trustee to make sure that Lubbock ISD is being supported, the kids are being supported,  the teachers feel like they're being supported and the parents feel like their concerns are heard as well," he said.

The municipal and school board elections are May 5.
