Lubbock Meals on Wheels is letting the good times roll for a good cause.

The agency hosts its 19th annual Mardi Gras Celebration to provide meals for the homebound.

There were food vendors, live music, a silent auction and benefit drawing to raise funds for the non-profit.

"Events like this are very important. For us to be able to provide the meals to all the thousands that we do here in the city. So it's our biggest event, it's very important for us and all the money stays here and like I said, we got to raise it ourselves."

Meals on Wheels delivered more than 190,000 hot and nutritious meals in 2017.
