LUBBOCK, Texas -

A candidate forum, Thursday, February 15, will feature Precinct 2 primary candidates for county commissioner – Mark Heinrich and Jason Corley, and for justice of the peace Precinct 2 – Mark Meurer, Clemmie Payne and Susan Rowley.

The meeting will be at Hillcrest Country Club beginning at 11:30 a.m.  Lunch is $18.00 per person and includes drink and dessert and all taxes and gratuities.  This event is open to the public and the media.  Please RSVP to 806-831-3168 by noon Monday, February 12.  Guests may attend without eating lunch.

President’s Day Membership Drive, Monday, February 19, LARW will host an event for all new, current, past and prospective members. There will be a political spoof by Kurt Kiser and Mark Martin and a musical number by Nelda Jett.  Dessert and coffee or tea will be served to all guests.  The event will be held at 4203 96th Street at 7:00 p.m.  To RSVP or for more information, call Deanne Clark, 806-773-4168 or Katherine Breugel, 806-782-5415.
