Twenty three times. Texas Rangers report a capital murder suspect stabbed his victim 23 times feet away from her three year old son.

The arrest warrant for 47 year old Lucio Camacho indicates he confesses to murdering 44 year old Petra Oralia Granados de Flores in her own home.

She had wounds in her head, throat and chest.

An hour later a guard at the Dalby Unit near Post reports Camacho assaulted him, tried to take his service weapon, then sped away.

Deputies chased the suspect across three counties before catching him near U.S. 84 and the Loop.

The child's safe, and CPS agents placed him with his biological father.

There is a federal immigration detainer placed on Camacho's records.
