FOX34 Corner Kitchen: zesty noodle soup

Zesty Zoodle Soup


  • 3 Sweet Italian Turkey sausages, cooked, sliced or crumbled
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 6 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp. thyme, rosemary, or parsley (optional)
  • 1 package Zucchini Veggie Noodles
  • 2 oz. Barilla Protein Spaghetti, cooked (optional)


1. In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add carrots, celery and onions; saute until onions are slightly translucent.

2. Slowly pour broth over cooked veggies; bring to a simmer.

3. Carefully add cooked sausage and herbs to broth mixture; return to a simmer for 5 min.

4. Gently add the zoodles/pasta or both. Let simmer for a few minutes to warm and serve immediately.
