ANSI's World Standards Week is the standardization community's premier annual gathering, with multiple conferences, committee meetings, and special events designed to inspire open dialogue about standardization and conformity assessment.
Nearly 400 individuals attend WSW each year, representing industry, government, standards developing organizations, trade associations, consumer groups, academia, and more.
"WSW 2018 is set to be especially exciting, as ANSI celebrates its 100th anniversary this year," said S. Joe Bhatia, ANSI president and CEO.

The awards recognize the dedication, and vision of individuals who contribute to and participate in the U.S. and global voluntary standards-setting and conformity assessment activities [see 2017 winners here]. ANSI will issue its call for nominations for the 2018 awards in March, and will announce winners in the late summer.

This year, ANSI will also serve as Administrating Organization for the event in celebration of its 100th anniversary.
