Grand jurors indict a man on charges of setting fire to an ex-girlfriend's back house in north Lubbock.

Michael Garcia, 38, true-billed for arson.

Investigators say he's responsible for a fire near 1st street and Waco Avenue back on Dec. 8.

Police report Garcia's ex-girlfriend told them he had been banging on her doors and windows the night before, cussing and screaming.

She reports he came back several times throughout the night demanding she let Garcia inside.

The victim reports Garcia claimed he was going to kill her and said he's known to carry a gun with him. That's when she called police.

The victim told police Garcia went to the back of her house and then she smelled smoke.

No one was hurt.
