The Lubbock-Cooper boys basketball team won 2 out of 4 games at the 59th annual Caprock Classic. The Pirates (11-8) lost the opening game to Odessa Permian 52-47 and then won two games on day two of the tournament by beating Trinity Christian 67-48 and district rival Lubbock High 62-58. On the third and final day LCP fell to Amarillo Caprock 67-53.
Lubbock-Cooper will host Levelland and travel to Brownfield on January 2nd and 4th before district play. The next radio broadcast will be on January 12th when the Pirates welcome defending 4-5A district champion, the Coronado Mustangs on Friday, January 12th at 7:30.
